One thing you cannot get back is time. And mama, these moments are fleeting.

Throughout your session, during prompts, games and activities I capture video footage while you enjoy spending time together. Videos are 1 - 2 minutes in length, edited to beautiful music and delivered via link and emailed to you.

What is a Mommy & Me Session?
Mommy & Me sessions are photo sessions designed intentionally for capturing the connection with your children. Take a look at this blog post and read all about why you need to book one!
Why are these only offered May - August?
I like to make sure I put a lot of effort into helping you create the session you’ve been dreaming of. I have more time in the spring / summer months to help support you with planning. I also can’t give up that golden hour lighting in the evenings!
What is “Golden Hour?” Does the session have to be during Golden Hour?
Golden hour is the 1 - 2 hours before the sunsets, giving us the most gorgeous lighting. I will always recommend golden hour, it is the best time for most photo sessions (in my opinion). If you want a golden hour session but don’t want to stay out too late because of bedtime, I would encourage you to book in May/June and still get that dreamy lighting. If you book late July/August you are more likely to stay out later!
When should I book my session for?
Mommy & Me sessions can be booked on both weekends and weekday evenings. Weekends book up FAST, so even if you’re interested in booking one in August there is a good chance it might be taken already! In the summer I am booking sessions 5-6 nights a week, so don’t be afraid to ask about that Tuesday evening in July!
Why do I have to sign a damage waiver and send a deposit?
The dresses from JD rentals are beautifully designed and made with high quality fabrics - therefor they are pretty pricey! In the unlikely event that a dress gets damaged while in your care, the damage deposit is kept and used towards repairing it. Once the dress is returned and all is good then you will get that back right away!
When do I try on and choose a dress?
Once you’ve booked your session you will be given the contact information for JD Dress Rentals and can contact her directly to arrange a try on!
Where do the photos take place?
Just like all of my sessions, the locations are determined in a collaborated process! Once you fill out the questionnaire and we’ve done some chatting - I’ll have an idea (or a vibe) of what you’re wanting and send you some location ideas! Not only that, but in my welcome + planning guide there is a list of locations - both local and some with travel required.
